RĀKAI artists use traditional and composite materials (Pounamu - New Zealand Greenstone, Parāoa – Whale Bone, Bronze, Glass, and Resin) as well as traditional and contemporary tools (Pātukituki, Uhi – Traditional Maori Tattoo Implements, Tattoo Guns).
